I made a new page showing a graphical representation of the various branches of the dungeon in Crawl, along with the players currently exploring those branches. It updates every two minutes, and turned out pretty neat! Right now there are no labels or player names, but the 'hard' work is done in designing it.
Also, the Nethack player info below wasn't updating properly before, but now it is fixed. Every five minutes new data should display.
Check them out!

Still working on player activity code
Looks pretty cool now! See below.
The Nethack code is in pretty good shape and is about at the point it only needs polishing and improvements.
The crawl code is lagging a bit behind, and only manually updates right now. Still having fun with it though!
Any comments or suggestions are very welcome.

Playing with online player activity

I've been working on a couple python scripts to take the info from players who recently finished games of Nethack and DCSS online and create a self-updating web page from that data that looks spiffy.
I have embedded them into this blog below, and the direct links are here:
Nethack Graphical Death List
DCSS Graphical Death List
Both pages are still very much a work in progress, but they're pretty fun to look at already.
If you notice that the scripts haven't been updated in a while, my server is probably just off. The scripts are most certainly working. :)
