adding sound to the legendary roguelikes Nethack and Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup
What is this?
Provided here are downloads to enable sound in the soundless roguelike games "Nethack" and "Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup".
I have added over 300 unique sounds to the game Nethack with over 500 event triggers, as well as several for DCSS.
The sounds files, necessary config file additions, and installation instructions are available to download above, as well as at my web page.
Note that in order to use sounds in both games you must be playing a Windows version of the game, or any other version that has sound support.
